The summer of finally

The summer's been full of long awaited events finally occurring (including finally updating my blog).

First:

I graduated from WSU with my bachelors degree and teaching license!

Second:Kyle returned home after serving his mission in L.A. He misses it terribly and wants to go back, but I'd rather him stay or I'll miss him terribly again.

Third:
After years of battling for their adopted daughter's citizenship, these great folks were finally sealed together as a forever family. And I got to go to the sealing and see my little cousin become a member of our eternal family.

Forth:I finally got over being self conscious and danced like a maniac at a concert. I even got Dex to join me (It's hard to resist dancing to Kenny Chesney). And I got hit on by a drunk-but that event wasn't longingly awaited. Since my awesome mother-in-law gave us mega tickets, I get to do this again 3 more times! (And see 3x the crazy drunk people! ;-)

Fifth:
I joined a great service crusade and, in the process, found a cure for my depression. You can read all about my journey, the awesome new cause, and way fun projects at my brand new blog-104 Cards for Soldiers. Check it out, and if you're interested in getting involved, let me know.

And finally sixth:
I am a West Point Warrior! Watch out 7th and 8th graders; you're about to be in Mrs. Snyder's science class.

  1. Hi Kaylee,

I didn't realize you had a blog until you posted on FB the other day. It was fun to read and surprising to see us. Thanks for thinking of us you talented cracker girl!
