Simple Autumn Joys
In order to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather, Dexter an I decided to go on a hike and see the leaves changing. We found a wonderfully gorgeous trail up in what my grandma calls "The Maughan's-ville Mountains" out in Mendon.
The hunting season had started, so Dex took extra precautions. I stuck close to him since I refused to look that unfashionable on our hike.
The trail was absolutely stunning:
We saw a buck, an eagle, a red-tailed hawk, butterflies, a fox, and (my personal favorite) a squirrel. Happy Autumn!
P.S. On a completely unrelated note, every scrapbooker in my family failed horribly on this last Thanksgiving. I forgot my camera. My mom, who was really stressed with preparing dinner, completely spaced taking pictures. My cousin forgot her camera too, and my aunt didn't come this year. So tragically, no Thanksgiving pictures :-( Sorry, folks!
